When you buy a property in a multi-unit development, you automatically become a member of the OMC. You will have rights and obligations as a result of your membership, including a say in how the common areas are run.
The company must update the member’s register with the new buyer’s information. The members’ register is a list of the company’s members’ names, addresses, and contact information. Members are responsible for informing the company of any changes to their contact information that are relevant. If a tenant moves into a unit, the owner must provide the tenant’s contact information to the owner’s property management company (OMC).
