How do I become a director of a management company?
Any member of the property management company has the opportunity to become a director. You must present your name at an Annual General Meeting to be considered for a directorship. The other members of the management company must then vote on your nomination.
When it comes to making decisions for the development, a director is appointed to act on behalf of and in the best interests of the other members of the management company. The minimum requirement for any management company is two directors.
The director’s job is to ensure that the development is properly managed and maintained.
